Today the wind is playning games with us. He leads us to Unije, then to Cres or vise versa or to nowhere. Eventually we end up in Cres. The city harbor is really in the middle of town. Cres is a tiny city surrounded by holiday camps and campsites.
There are several churches and even a monastery.

There is absolutely calm in the harbour, but it is the silence before the storm. The wind picks up and gets stronger every minute and a few times we are very busy to avoid other boats hitting us. We reach the point where we give up and change berthing to the more safer marina more inland.

No improvement of the weather. Bora, Jugo, Tramontana and how all the different winds are called here - you name it, we have it. After four days even Rainer is fed up with reading. At the slightest chance of improvement we take the opportunity and leave. But outside the bay await us 35 to 45 knots of wind, not really a pleasure! After hours the wind eventually dies down a bit and at the end of the day we reach the Maracol Bay of Unije.
